About Me

I’m Louise E Hollamby, a writer, performer and voiceover artist from sunny Cleethorpes. I trained at Mountview Theatre School and worked in London as an actor and singer before turning my focus to writing and producing. With my brother, Alex, I founded Scorched Spoon Productions to make the short film The Bathroom with Janie Dee and Reece Noi and wrote my first screenplay, a dark romantic comedy, Loss and Found.

Since then, I have written and published my first novel, Sienna Fitch, recently shortlisted for the Rubery Book Award. Work is currently underway on the audiobook and the follow-up novel, Sienna Fitch and The Porthpenn Divide.

Even more excitingly, I am in active development for my first full length play, Literary Suicide. With a cast of five women, this one-act play is a dark comedy exploring gender, institutional power dynamics, and the reclamation of classical female narratives in the modern world, themes that feel alarmingly relevant today.

Outside of writing, I live in Berlin with my awesome husband and love to travel, hang out with the best family and friends in the world, and obsess about my beloved Liverpool FC.

Thank you for stopping by and taking an interest in my work. YNWA.
